From Sparks to Flames: Indigenous Business Fuelling the Future

Fremantle, Western Australia will host the 17th Annual AEMEE Conference and is set to welcome a lineup of experienced speakers in various fields, with a diverse range of topics set to be discussed.

This year's theme is "From Sparks to Flames: Indigenous Business Fuelling the Future”. This theme encapsulates the diversity and growth of Indigenous Businesses in the resources and energy sector, with a specific focus on sustainability.

“We are excited to showcase the stories of Indigenous Businesses in the sector, think about our greater purpose, where we started and capture those diverse stories to where we are now.

We will hear from both sector leaders and stakeholders and Indigenous Businesses to grapple with the challenges and opportunities we collectively face to fulfill AEMEE’s vision of gaining true market share for Indigenous Businesses.

The transition to net zero presents an exciting opportunity for Indigenous Businesses to be leading the way, as we explore strategies in how the sector accelerates the journey to net-zero, reducing the carbon footprint for our future generations.”
